Few Pics From Auto-X
These are the pics from the Auto-X in St. Augustine where the Police practice thier driving. It's a nice little course, lotsa turns. The pics of me in motion are at the end of the track, wish I could've taken pics at the skid pad, too bad I had to work the serpentine.
I'll take better pics when I goto Gainesville. I was ashamed of my times
. A mini-cooper beat my times by 2 seconds

I found that 30psi in the fronts and 35psi out back worked out the best that day for me, got my fastest time with that. It was a pretty hot afternoon by the time my bunch got to run, so more air had to be removed. I wasn't sure how to dial in my F2 Coilovers tho. I went all the way hard up front and like lil over half hard out back. Was my first time running a FF in an Auto-X.

30psi in the FRONT? On street tires??? That seems way low.

Well I deflated them that low and they just hit the scrub marks on my ES100s, besides due to the heat it prolly inflated back to like 35psi. When I put them at 35psi and checked after a run it was like 40psi. I hit my best time with them at 30psi. I inflated them back to 40psi at a gas station on the way back home if that's what your worried about.

No that seems low for autoxing. The sidewalls will almost certainly roll over. Id recomment 40-42 for ES100 fronts and either ~48 in the rear for tighter courses or down to 32 in the rear for more open courses.
I havent autoxed on ES100s (not taht I remember at least) but I do know they have a softer sidewall than either of the models of Azenis and hence more apt to rollover.
Bleed back down after each run.

I wasn't really sure what catagory I should have been in at first so I put on SM. When I got to tech I told the guy all I had was a drop in filter and coilovers so he changed me to STX. I'm not going to the Whitehouse event but I will be going to the Gainesville event in July. Going to get a tune up and add a few little mods so I can get some better times before then. PM me if you wanna meet up there.

that seems like ALOT for hot pavement summer time Auto-Xing, but the end of a lap he's probably seeing around 55psi

In my experience, sounds about right. My tires typically only go up ~4-5lbs max and we have long courses and hot temps in here in ATL.

That's pure speculation. I don't see 10 psi jumps like that here. 90 degree weather is 90 degree weather, and a hot black top is just as hot in 90 degree weather in the Northeast as it is in Fl. 35 psi is pretty low for street tires.

At St. Augustine that day, I started with about 35psi all the way around. After my first run I dropped the front down to 40psi and the rear to 41psi and tried to keep them near that for the last 5 runs. I was on Azenis RT-615.

Umm... you ever been to FL in the summer? Here we got a extra coat call humidity that nature puts on us, so your 90 degree weather would feel like 110 degree weather here
. I've always get complaints from my cousins when they come from Cali. about how hot it is here compared to home.

Yea, I know all about the Fl weather and humidity is not exclusive to Florida. Trust me when I say it can get hot up here. Not quite as blistering in direct UV light, but temp wise, it gets up there.
My family lives in Cape Coral
, I'm well aware of Fl weather.
