good pedals for wet shoes
well i was driving with wet shoes and my foot kept slipping off the clutch making it a non smooth ride...soo what are some good pedals to get for when you have wet shoes to prevent slippage?? ALSO, i searched but havent found much or anything on those cheap ebay pedals that are like around 15 bucks...any good with them?? and or whas wrong with them?? thanks
I bought the sparco pedals with the rubber dots on them and they work great.
When I bought them I figured they wouldn't make much of a difference but they are awesome.
Way easier to heel-toe and the rubber studs grip really well.

and this is just a thoguht.. why not get a pair of "driving shoes"?
i know it sounds kinda corney or whatever.. but if you had some racing shoes on while you were driving you would feel the petals betar.. and it might help you become more of a "persice" driver.
Dont hate me because i didnt read my hooked on phonix books =D

It is corny, but in todays society you just need to learn not to give a fack, what other people think. +1 on the driving shoes, Id love to have a pair. Now, as for gloves, I think that would go overboard, but I cann tell that there is a HUGE difference, when I drive in different shoes. Now, if you have a pair that you would drive with EVERY TIME, then yes, Im sure you would become a better Manual Transmission driver

ihave my work boots and my "gangster walker" shoes and they both have diffrent sole thincknesses, but after clutching 2 to 3 times, im back to perfect shifts. doesnt take THAT long to get used to it again.
as far as pedals are concerned, im gona get the "JDM *****" thing for sure but i dont care, ive driven my friends car with Mugen pedals and they have such great grip, if you have the bank, they are great pedals

You're ******* retarded, and your post shows it. How are driving shoes going to help when it's raining?
OP: Simple fix, grip tape.

the grip tape works awesome, but it will have to be redone every so often. Also, if you live where there is snow, i advise taking it off for the winter as when snow is on it, it becomes sliperier than ice...but its summertime anyways. Grip tape FTW!
i wonder how sparco rubber cover compared to stock rubber covers would make a difference..
but there are pedals that already have some sort of grip tape on them.
They work good.

You can place the whole piece on there and then cut around the pedal. What I suggest you do (if you don't already) is after you cut it to the shape of the pedal, is get a screwdriver or something and rub it around the edges so that it doesn't peal up on you.
