Go OEM, they're plenty strong enough and you can trust them. Just don't run low on coolant, that's what kills head gaskets.

I heard bad against D series OEM head gasket. Any replacement head gasket will do the trick really on a stock D15...

OEM Honda head gaskets are great don't skimp on it unless you want to do it again, but get one for a 92-95 or just make sure it is the metal style and not the paper, thats the only problem with the 88-91 OEM gaskets

Like $60-$70 I think from honda, may be cheaper too I forget haven't bought one for a while, just call your local dealer and ask for 92-95 civic headgasket I think i got one for a z6 and it was fine, I believe they are all the same between d15 and d16

i put a cheapie $30 parts store one on mine, i sprayed both sides with the permatex copper spray the turbo guys use just to be safe. make sure you use the NEW torque sequence not the one listed in most helms manuals, honda put out a sevice bulletin awhile ago but its not in the manual. you torque it in three smaller steps instead of two big steps, and the final footlb's are slightly higher if i remember correctly
