ACT puts out the torque holding of all their clutchs on their website.

xtr4 and xtr6 (which i run) holds 350ft/pounds of torque

xtss holds 270ft/pounds torque

hdss holds 233ft/pounds torque

Take your pick. Sounds like you need the big boy. The d-series clutchs suck before of the small disc size (212mm) and limited room between the flywheel and tranny. There ARE a few twin disc setups for the d-series, just rare and hard to find. My next clutch will be a twin disc. I hate my xtr6, but hey, at least it holds the power.

I cant stand unsprung clutches such as the XTR4/6. I vote for the Clutch Masters Stage 4. 4 or 6 puck, sprung

I'm going to be trying the RPS 6-puck clutch. I bought one with only a few miles on it from gitwidit.

I'm running compeition clutch stage 4 6 puck.

grabs really well!

You could also look into a b series tranny conversion kit from compeition clutch to run a b series tranny and a twin disk

I do not know of anyone running that much power through it. I will be trying to push more boost and can tell you what happens in a couple months

right now it holds 270+ wtq without a problem.

anybody have info on a twin disc/multi disc setup for a sohc? i cant seem to find anything.

i'm making 297 wtq right now (22 psi on a .48/.60 t3), and running a clutchmasters stage 2 (i think) PP and a centerforce dual friction disc...its holding, but its maxed, and i drive it very nicely.

i'm upgrading to a t3/60-1 and want to have a clutch to save up for.......haha

Endyn gets them for a fair price. Also repalce the flywheel with the alloy CM one. it makes a big differece in throttle responce.
