Default Running a b18a 90-91 throttle body on a b18b intake manifold

Hey guys I'm getting reading to finish my swap and I can't find a b18b throttle body locally.

I went to the wreckers and got a 90-91 integra throttle body and I'm just wondering will I have any problems using the OBD 0 throttle body with the wiring or vacuum lines on my OBD 1 civic with b18b engine/intake manifold.

I tried searching but haven't found a thread that could answer my question.
Thanks

No you will be upright but the problem is you will not have a fast idle because the B18B fast idle is on the throttle body and the B18A is on the modifold. I run my setup once like that too can't find my 94 ls throttle body but it work.

What would the fast idle do for me? give me the option of adjusting the idle speed?

the fast idle is just for moring or cold start to keep the rpm high.

ah yea read it in a thread a few min ago.
I belive I'm safe without the fast idle, just need to block the port

Is your map sensor on the firewall if not you will need a map sensor for a 92 honda civic because the B18a map sensor is on the fire wall but the B18B map sensor is on the throttle body.

Oh that I know, I already have the 2 map sensors, one for the firewall and one for the Throttle body

it will bolt up, but you will have a leak due to the fitv

Would you know exactly where the FITV port is located ?

you on the b18a manifolds its located on the side of the IM, but on the b18b its on the TB itself, so it has a vaccum feed that you wont beable to block off if you use the A1 TB.

it will not leak because the throttle body for the B18A is solid but for the b18b the fast idle is bolt underneath the throttle body, And I have done it all my motor. If it leak then I will not see boost.

Re-read my thread...I have a b18b intake manifold and I just got a b18a1 throttle body

Just wondering if anybody knows where the port/lines are on the throttle body that I need to block?

on my stock B18a1 intake manifold theres 2 wholes ( one for the tps, the other for the fast idle).......i noticed on the skunk2 or blox intake manifold theres only one hole (which is for the tps).......do those not use a fast idle or something?

Also......on my intake manifold theres a EGR valve......but on the skunk2 an blox theres no flange for it....i just want to understand this all.

Ive been having the same problem....please help

you cant block them because they are inter-grated inside the manifold and is meant to work with the B1 Tb.i wish i had my old A1 manifold so i could get you a pick comparing them.

Ok I see the difference, but that means the FITV is on the b18a manifold...so what if I just bolted up my other b18a manifold to run it with the throttle body?

I do have a spare b18a intake manifold but is there a difference in the runner length/dimensions between the b18a and b18b manifolds? I'd like to keep as much power available with the motor.

i believe that the 92-93 manifolds have the same runners and plenums as the 94+, the 90-91 is smaller.

dam that sucks

either run the proper IM and have the smaller plenum or run the correct IM and have the wrong tb lol
