Default Need opinions on possible oil issue!!.... thanks

Alrite, so i just got my b18c spec-R motor and it's burning oil. Mainly when i beat on it really hard. I did a leak down test and got less than 2% difference on every cylinder. YET, i have a couple people telling me it's valve seals, and others telling me it's piston rings.

THe motor still makes a ton of power. I am just inquiring as to what are the signs of both of these burning possiblities.

Any help you have would be greatly appreciated... thanks!

Do the leak down test and after u fill up one of the cylinders, then listen by the throttle body and if u hear air escaping its ur seals, and if theres no air escaping open the radiator cap and see if there is bubbles in the coolant. That would tell u ur head gasket is bad. and if u dont hear air escaping or see any bubbles its ur rings.

well, when i did the leak down everything was solid, no bubbles or air escaping through the throttle body... so that means piston rings right? how bad is that... and how much does it TYpically run to fix that?
