the saturday afternoon began with preparation of the cars for sunday. the plan was to meet up with the socal gang at corner3 garage, do our things, and then head out to willow springs in lancaster later that evening and meet up with loose boys jeff, dan, justin, and daniel. this had been nearly our first time out there in the big track. mike's the only one who had been on before so it made for a day of both anticipation and a little fear.

Great pics jay! I wish I could have made it with you guys but it was memorial day weekend and that's one of the biggest retail holidays of the year. Couldn't leave work at all.

we woke up at around 6:30am, got ready, and headed to the track. just before going to the track, we filled the tanks with some chevron 91. the driver's meeting started at 8:00am. the rules and guidelines were reviewed and on our way we were back to our cars for the final prep - empty the hatches and get ready to run.

oh oh oh,
great weekend. stil recovering from the 7 hour drive home to phx but still pumped after the good times.
mike, steve, jay, aaron, chris, and all i had a blast and thanks for coming out. we need to do this MUCH more often.
wish we could have had another download session after the event. be out there soon enough though for

we ended up running three total sessions. the day's host was TCRA and we were running in the open track session. they had a race that day as well, but we unfortunately didn't get any photos of them out there. if anyone has photos of the race or the open session, post 'em up!

below are photos from session 2 and 3 as well as a pic during the lunch parade lap. unfortunately, most likely for safety reasons, no cars were allowed to have passengers. aaron and shanelle were looking foward to some rides. we also got a treat at the end...read/view for the details.

oh jay, great pics, and even better comments. i know it takes a long time to make a post like that so thank you!!!
ill get a new transmision soon enough. a 2 speed transmission isnt ideal for willow springs . i think i might be swappin out the tranny at MikeHonda manor.

that camera you have is awsome. i feel fortunate i was able to shoot a shot with it. turned out nicely as well, if i might say.
ill try and get the HD footage of mikes car loaded up to my server sometime this week.
