i need the cable that sits flat not the one that sits sideways. ill buy both if i have to. let me know. i need the part asap. i refuse to pay dealer price and its preventing me from getting my swap finished.

one cable is 230 bucks. i refuse to pay it...
and the junkyards just cut them.. so looks like im going to be waiting on this one...

Brandon moved to Cape Coral, Florida and about a month and a half ago, stiffed someone over a H22 throttle body. But I have his parents address down in Florida as someone else sold him an exhaust, then read my sig and gave me the address he shipped it to. lol

You need to make some friends at the junkyards so that they call you as soon as an rsx comes into their yard... Is there some yard that tends to get them more than others? Tell them that you will pay $50 for an intact one.

 

I cant thin of one junkyard around that will go out of their way like that for me...

 

Well, the first problem is that there aren't too many wrecked RSXs in the junkyards. But I did a search and General Auto Recycling USA-RI(Tiverton) E-mail 1-800-556-7316 has a 2004 RSX in their yard. I called them and asked them for the shifter cable, and I was told that they don't sell them because it takes a lot of work to take them out and... no one is willing to pay even half price for it. So... anyway, I don't know if the cable is any good, but they may have one. I guess what you need to do is find a pick and pull yard so you can take it out yourself.
