Default Sticky Throttle

Finally got my car back from body shop. I can't do that kind of stuff.

Throttle hangs up when first pushed down. Makes it a bit difficult to get the car moving graciously. Middle range of throttle is fine. Just the first application of pressure on the gas pedal.

Can it be the cable, and can it be lubricated?

Thanks for the insight in advance

Default Re: Sticky Throttle (gcruik)

Get some Honda Throttle Body cleaner, cause that stuff is the ****. Get a rag and spray the TB cleaner on the rag and wipe the inside of the Throttle body bore and plate off. DONT USE A WIRE BRUSH. Then Clean off the cable. Apply some trans. fluid to the cable where it hooks up to the throttle body. Check adjustemt. Done.
