Its exactly like an h22 swap, except you dont need to wire up vtec, knock sensor, or IABs.

You use the same mount kit, axle combination, shift linkage, slim fan, etc, etc.

I did an f23 from a '00 accord into a friends '94 civic and the swap process was identical to an h22 swap(except for one mount that is different on the f23).

As stated above , it's the same as a h22 . My buddy went from a h22 to a f22b1 into a ek and it's all the same.

funny thing too, is you can tell unsuspecting victims, its a single cam, and then it really is!

you can almost pass it for a stock sohc motor if good enough!

The whole motor and swap was pieced together. We ended up using a complete '96 accord intake manifold, so we didnt even have to deal with that.

if some ******* hillrod popped the hood on like a late eighties, mid 90's mustang i wouldnt know what motor is unless it has badging. stuff we work on is different from what soem else works on. think of it like this, if we look at an ls vtec and notice the b18b/a tag, then a vtyec head we know, a nonhonda lover sees under there hood and know that its a dohc vtec. get my drift?

does anyone know witch driver side engine mount bracket u use for a f22 into eg?
im in the middle of this swap & the driverside mount does align with the screw hole & stud on the bracket on the driverside. will a h22/h23 bracket fit the f22 motor?

Me and my friend luis just completed my f22a1 95 civic swap, got the car running with no check engine lights. It took about 6 months to do with my old d series running all to the f series running... Used the d series wiring harness and extended the wires and used 90-93 da integra axles to first drive the car then after the test drive was leeking tranny fluid out because i need to switch out the outer boot that goes into the tranny... But it was a very fun swap and recommend doing it lol
