just bought the car and im planning to tune it, but i dont know where to start.
oh take note its autmatic(bummer).

needs some idea

I assume you are from Canada or somewhere that has the EXR model that corresponds to our EX model. Well, having the auto sort of sucks BUT you may want to start with normal maintenance items and also do a compression check.

engine is probably f22b1
very similar to f22b2 but you have that little thing called VTEC

hey thnx man,
ok my friend advise was to get a vtec controller.so that i can allow the vtec kick in @ 3000 rpm atleast. now do you have any pros and cons about this.?

yea, vtec on a sohc is one of the dumbest things honda could have ever done.

spend your money on something better. get real mods, then maybe that controller might do you better.

tell your friend to get a rope, hes a ricer.

A lower VTEC set point is not necessarily better. I believe anything like a VAFC should be set on the dyno. A little lower usually helps but going as low as possible doesn't.
