im putting together a turbo kit and i was wondering is anyone is using the j-bends from summitracing, if so how many bends to order. im using my intake as my charge pipe.

2-3 depending on the route of the piping. I would go with 3!

 

I have the **** from summit, but honestly, the stuff I got from ebay (ubendsman or something) is cheaper and better. Summit's stuff is all slightly crushed in (not rippled, but ovaled on the inside radius), where as the ubendman's stuff is just 1/32 smaller circle in the bend than the rest of the tube (to be expected), but perfectly round both in inner radius and crosssection.

In a nutshell, 3-4 from ubendman is better than scummit racing. Including th throttlebody, you need at least 3.25 180* bends. So 4 will be great, 5 will be perfect.
