How to recharge A/C after motor swap

Default How to recharge A/C after motor swap

How would i charge up my AC after my motor swap. I released all the pressure in the AC lines. Would i just buy one of those rechagrge kits or should i take it some where? are the recharge kits reliable? ANy help would be great

if you released all the pressure then you are going to have to take it somewhere unless you have the equipment require to place a vacum on your system

a recharge kit is just the oil and freon and the vacum that is already on the system is what sucks it in

are you sure? if so. man that sucks. i burned up one of the a/c lines. was hoping to just use the refill kit

yeah, a/c needs to be done by someone who has the right stuff and knows what they are doing, because if not, it either doesn't get charged all teh way, or **** usually leaks out and you are out the cash it cost you to buy stuff yourself and to learn the hard way

well thanks guys! i Guess im juss not gonna do it at all then. I cant really afford it right now....Ohh well. SO no on the refll kit? that sucks. Thanks!

Don't you have to have a license to work with freon or something?? Because it's illegal to leak it into the air?

Could be wrong, but I thought my Step-dad said something about that before... I dunno!

you need to be certified to charge and evacuate ac systems. you just need to read a small pamplet and take a test on it.
