Default Transmission Oil Leak in the Radiator, is this possible?

I searched and searched didn’t find enough information to my Radiator chocolate milkshake problem (Discolored coolant).

Transmission Oil Leak in the Radiator, is this possible?

I don’t think it is my Head Gasket because, I didn’t loose any engine performance, no leaks any kind, no over heat. No coolant mix with Engine or Tranny Oil they are very clean.

I also took the car in to a shop; Head Technician told me that, it could be your Radiator, but no one giving me a rock solid answer.

May be you Professionals out there can help me with this nasty chocolate milkshake issue.

I truly/really appreciate you input

Although it is possible for auto transmission fluid to get into the radiator, this is probably not your case.

Chocolate milkshake are a mix of motor oil and coolant.

Strawberry milkshake are auto transmission fluid (red) and coolant.

You can get different flavor milkshakes depending on the color of the auto trans fluid or coolant.

Problem seems to point to possible headgasket problem.

A leaky head gasket can actually go a good long while. It will just leak more, smoke more, and you will slowly lose performance BUT it will still get you places. I would suggest fixing it of course but I would not consider it an immediate problem unless of course you are losing a lot of oil.

Whoa!!! Lots of miles on your Cord. Its imposible to predict how long something will last, in this case a head gasket. It does sound like you have problems with it. Do you have a white smoke coming out of your tailpipe when you get on it? Do you smell coolant burning? When you change your oil, look if its milky color. Those are the things you should look for. Do a radiator flush if you want. And check fluid daily to see how bad the leak is.
Good luck. Hope I'll be some help to you

thanks guys, your answer Definitely made my feels better, because this is the only car I have and use her to get to work.

yes I did radiator flush, but still getting some oil, I didn't notice engine or tranny oil getting low. no burning smell either. but I'll keep eye on them.

as soon as I get a chance I will change the Head Gasket, should I do it my self or how much dealer charge for this kind of job?

one more question: do I have to use brand new Head Bolts if I am changing the Gasket?

Thanks a (lot)Ton

Do it yourself a lot cheaper. Dealer will hit you up 4 over a$1000. I would replace the head bolts. Always good thing to do.
By the way, if you gonna do it yourself, might as well replace your thermostat and radiator hoses, radiator, while you at it. Your cooling system is contaminated with oil. You have to clean it out as good as possible.
