need more info, is it back fireing? is it runing ?does it sounds like a Harly bike? does the whole engine shake? was the lower pully at TDC#1 and head at TDC #1 when you installed the head?

i had it all in time when put togetherno its not backfiring and the engine dont shake either it jus dont run the best i am getting one code though its #7
