Default Lowered and rubbing problem

Ok, i have 17" konig verdicts, and ground control coil overs.... my car is lowered about 1.5-1.75 inches. When i take a turn with any banking or any real hard turns, I rub. I was told it was because i have a 40 mm offset. Is there anything i can do to fix this? spacer plates and longer wheel studs perhaps? Or is that not a good idea? I am not sure.

what size tires and what kind of car?

If you add spacers you will just make it worse.

I have 205/40 tires..... I thought spacers would give me a larger offset. That is what was explained to me as being my problem. So is there nothing i can do then?

Just roll your fenders. Of if it's rubbing on the plastic lining, trim the plastic liner.
