Roommates car got jacked. Just got it back 1/2 stripped.

Well here is the story insurance is going to pay for all damages. But my roommate doesn't have paper work on the stereo system he put in. How could i go about getting receipts?

if he bought the equipment online, an invoice should be sufficient.

how much is a stock head unit from the factory? must cost more than a after market stereo unit.
