Default pics of my new swap

Well finally I got a digi cam and took some pics of my new swap.

I have a 92 integra gsr. I sold the b17 and bought a JDM B16 XSi swap from HMO. It worked out good for me, that is why I did it. So don't ask why I sold the B17.

Well for my first swap, it turned out great. Very simple and straight forward. Started it up with no problems. And turned out very clean and I'm very proud of myself. Oh and I removed the ABS as you can all see.

Hope you all enjoy

nothing special. And I sold the complete swap for a great price and it had 244,000 miles on it. It was time to move on.

don't really understand the benefit of a jdm b16 over a b17. does it have lsd or higher compression?
looks good tho

Awsome. haha we need to meet up and get pics,

We both have DA's,
and in the same week we both got B16A swaps from HMO and swapped them in.

Ok, what part of. 244,000 miles doesnt anyone get. Its not like the B17 was new.

and its just a motor.... same as the Mugen stuff. Just a part, no reason to freak out over it. lol... Not syin I would get mugen or spoon

ok not time for a drop, too much wheel gap. shouldt be any wheel gap.

And hey, if you wanna help swap a dash monday let me know, doing my full intr. 100% of it. shrowin out oem blue for 100% OEM Black everything.

eh hes is asleep and since I'm up untill he posts I'll throw in my answer,

I lost .2 going from B18A1 to JDM b16A,

I noticed alot from trq but I did notice it is faster, maybe doesnt feel like it,
But I noticed I get up the on ramp etc.. faster.

I know my comparison isnt what your lookin for, ls - vtec but eh I figured why not.

BTW, I love your RHD DA,

thanks. ya.. its only 10 hp more than the B17, but it has 200,000 miles less.. which was what I was going for.

Ya higher C/R --&gt; 10.4 vs. 9.7 and 170hp vs 160hp.

I didn't notice anything. This engine swap is faster than the B17. I also put in an ITR Flywheel, Exedy Stage 1 Clutch, Hondata IM Gasket. I know this swap is MUCH stronger and I can feel it pull harder than the B17.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by stocker2shocker91 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">sbut that big sticker on the side in my opinion is just asking to get stolen </TD></TR></TABLE>

It was on the car when I bought it. I was waiting till I paint the car to remove it.

** And yes it needs to be lowered again. When I first got it, it was slammed on 16's, than I raised it with Eibach Prokit's, and put the 15 inch Rota Slips. Just doesnt look good IMO either. So don't worry everyone, you're not alone.

** Just to give everyone a interesting thing I found out about how good this motor is, when I changed the oil on it, I put about 2mm over the top hole and I figured I could burn it off in VTEC on my long drive home from Tennessee to Ontario, Canada. Well when I got home, it still had the same oil to my astonishment. That was 2 weeks ago, and it still has the same amount and I've been using VTEC a lot lately, and it still is at the same amount. So this motor is VERY strong, and Hmotorsonline sent me a GREAT ENGINE!!! thanks HMO

the only differnce was 4 ftlb of torque. in return he gain 10.4 compression compared to the stock b17's 9.6, he gain 10hp and the same tranny gear with the added lsd.
