Default 94 LS engine..going into 00 LS

so the motor in my 00 ls is shot (i'd rather not talk about it lol) but a buddy of mine had a 94 ls b18b to spare. i was wondering what, other than the ecu jumper harness, would i need for a smooth swap..the engine is complete with intake and exhaust manifolds, head, whatnot..the only thing it's missing is a few sensors which i can swap from my old engine over, and the distributor. will the distributor from my 00 ls engine work with the 94 engine..? any tips, tricks, would be greatly appreciated!!

you want to change the engine over to obd2 right? i was wondering what had to be done to do that also. wouldnt you not need a conversion harness if your staying obd2?

distributor....injectors....the dizzy plug on the obd2 car harness is different....and the obd1 injectors use a dif plug than your car harness

this is assuming you keep the harness in your car and try to mate it to the other obd engine harness

use your existing harness in the 00 ls use the dizzy and the fuel rail and injectors from your old motor then you wouldnt have a problem u might have a check engine light cuz obd2 has sensors that obd1 doesnt have but it will run ok still......
