suggestions on how to reduce exhaust vibrations and overall noise (resonator?)?
i was thinkin of getting a resonator to quiet down my car. i like quiet + high performance. right now i have a 2.25" exhaust mandrel bent piping system with HI-FLO MAGNAFLOW CAT and MAGNAFLOW MUFFLER (way stock look). think a resonator would further quiet my setup down? also, I have the exhaust straight welded to my JDM headers, I was thinking about replacing it - what are your opinions on something to reduce vibrations? (i get it at certain RPMs, not all the time) i was thinking about getting maybe a flexpipe portion put in so it can flex a little... anyone have experience or think that would reduce vibrations?
i am also in the process of trying to quiet down my ride, first will be to ditch the short ram and get a cai, next will probably be sound deadening the doors and maybe the rest of the car depending on how unlazy i feel, as far as the resonator goes... the guy at the exhaust shop told me the resonator is more restrictive than the cat, anyone confirm this?
