Default car wont run. help please

alright guy, i just got done building a integra. i had the engine out replaced the battery, plugs, plug wires dizzy, dizzy cap. manifold gasket and head gasket. i start my car and it will idle for a little then start to bog down and shut off. but if i rev it up it will run till i let off the gas. i drove it 10 miles the other day but if i had to stop i had to rev it up to keep it running. any ideas what might be wrong. thanks alot H-T
i also had a pair of jumper cables running off my brothers car to mine and it ran fine

bad alt. or bad battery that no longer will hold load

as long as the car was running as normal when it was jumped

you either have a bad vacuum leak or when you assembled the motor, the piston rings are bad because when you come to a stop you dont have enough compression in your motor to keep it idle. i would to a compression test just to make sure its good. if it good numbers check ur intake for vacuum lines

you need too re-read his post.. he says when jumper cables are hooked up his problem goes away..

its probably his alt or battery..

Do any lights on your instrument cluster light up when your car starts too bog and die?
