Well i replaced my distributor, made the notch on the block, and i made sure i put the rotor back in the same way it came out..
But now When i go to start my car, it takes about 3 key turns for it to start
the first key turn it turns over a little and the car shakes then goes off
and after it finally gets started, when in park the the car makes poping sounds in the exhaust, so im guessing its somthing with the timing..
But i know for a fact i put it back in right

most likely your timing is off. You may have to rotate the CRANKSHAfT PULLEY COUNTERCLOCKWISE and bring number one piston to TOP DEAD CENTER (TDC).
Then just align the notch to the lines 180 Degrees.
Had the same problem in my 94 accord few days ago started right up. hope that helps.
