what tranny oil in b16a2 box
WOW i feel bad for u. every honda owner should know this. all honda manuals take REGULAR MOTOR OIL 10w30 ONLY even the k h and the f20c
read and fsm or even chilton. the synchros do not like regular trans fluid and WILL most likely grind prematurely

not really, i always use 10w30 and im a professional full time mechanic i work on many hondas a week
we also use 10w30 in our 8sec. hot rod race car
but i changed my wording to be 100% correct b/c honda always says honda lube/filter/gasket etc. before the mentioning the other product types that fit or work in their fsm

I use regular 10w30 motor oil -- mobile 1, not honda O.O
Maybe that's b/c that's all I use, it was like the best oil for my benz which I was driving awhile (15w50), so maybe it's jsut me, but I <3 that oil

the reason behind not using regular gear oil is that honda synchros are designed to be used with a light/medium oil most gear oils such a 80/w90 are way to thick and will cause premature synchro failure
