Default DA Integra Starting Problem - Weird!

My buddy asked me to post this question on here for him.

He has a DA Integra and the starter is acting really weird. It starts just fine, but when you release the key, it dies.

I guess you could say that when the key is in the "start" position it runs, but when he lets it go and it goes to the "on" position, it dies again.

Anyone know whats up?

The only thing I can think of is the ignition switch. I don't know if you can burn up the fuse box, because if the wires get that hot, than they must have already popped the fuse. My guess would be that he has an open short circuit somewhere. Good luck finding that, it could take some time to track down.
