OBD2 Distibutor work on OBD1 car?
Heres the deal.. I got my JDM Type-R Motor with the P73 ecu. I have a 95 Integra GS-R with the P72 ecu. I am planning on running the Type-R with the OBD2 P73 ecu with a jumper harness. The guy that is doing my car says that I have to put my GS-R distributor on the Type-R motor in order to work. When he said that.. it sounded weird to me. So is this true that I have to swap the distributors because of the OBD1 to OBD2 conversion?

In your case, it's easiest to just swap all electronics over to your Type R motor. If you do that then there is no wiring needed at all. You'll just need your conversion harness at teh ecu and you should be set to go. You will basically just be replacing your block and tranny with a new one and you are good to go.
You can rewire the dizzy plug to run the OBD2 dizzy if you want. But it's not necessary. You can run pretty much any dizzy that will fit as long as it's wired appropriately. For example, in my CRX (originally OBD0) I run the ITR dizzy (OBD2) with a p28 (OBD1). Just as long as all the right wires go to the right places you are good to go.
