Default 2000 Civic SI radio...all lights out except for center (amber display)

I dont know why...but every backlight is out except for the part that tells you the time/volume/track listing.

any way to figure out whats wrong and how to fix it? i have no use for it and want to sell it and get the most out of it.

the faceplate lights iluminate when powered on by the illumination wire. the display lights come on with the radio with acc. check your illumination wire with a meter to see if it gets 12v when you turn on your parking lights.

i would go to best buy and tell them you need a 98 up honda reverse harness. thatll be the same as the one in your car . then you can find a 12v power source, ground the neg. dimmer wire and apply 12v to the orange ill. wire. if that doesnt illuminate them, then go ahead and hook the memory, and acc. wire to 12v, and the black wire to ground and try again. I have one of these radios hooked up in my garage to a computer power supply and thats the harness i used. hope this helps.
