WD-40 or get another loosener agent, it helps. I got mine off with my own elbow grease. just keep trying at it. This is the bolt with the spring right?

so wd40? i just sprayed some on right now, i pretty much soaked it.... how long should i let it sit?
yeah mine came off with just a wrench and muscles...
you should just spray wd40 on let it sit for a few seconds and it should be good.

This really shouldn't take that much effort, but a 1/2" drive with a 8' breaker bar usually works wonders 8'*100lb = 800lb*ft torque. If that bolt doesn't doesn't break loose, SOMETHING's gonna break loose.

Those bolts are BITCHES!!! When I installed my JDM Header I had to have my neighbor come over with a powered saw and cut that bolt loose. But like everyone else said, use a good lube spray, (Liquid Wrench, PB, WD-40) and then use a breaker bar and bust it. Good Luck!
Man, I hated those bolts with a passion.
Suggestion: If you plan on ever needing to mess with these bolts more than once a year, I would replace them with some new ones. I went to a local place that carries all kinds of nuts and bolts and now it is much easier to work with.
TypeRmsm has the exact specs of the bolts and washers you should use to replace the stock bolts.

...and after you get it loose, use some antisieze from your local nut and bolt shop on all of the threads in the exhaust system...
Zeus- who's been know to pull the exhaust off a brand new car and use antisieze just to avoid such problems in the future...
