finally picked up my first bike about a week ago. 01 f4i, nearly perfect condition. all it needed was some bolts, turn signals, and mirrors to get it legal and i got it for a decent price. of course i already took the msf course, and got my m1. next up i need to get some insurance, jacket, and gloves (i have my helmet and boots) within the week and ill be on the road

how much did you pick it up for?

my advice, get a lighter colored jacket (white or gray if you want to stay black/white) that way you can be somewhat visible on the road.

 

well i picked it up for a good price, best i found here in san diego. so compared to you those on the east coast it would just be an average price. 25k miles on the clock (i know i know, but its a honda ) as for the jacket, im thinking the black/white joe rocket speedmaster and pants to go with it.

 

I didn't know they made all-black F4i's. Was it that way from the factory or did he paint it? I'm guessing it is painted, since there are no Honda stickers.

yea its been painted, not a high quality paint job, but eventually it'll be scraped off . im fine with it for now, doesnt bother me. no noticeable imperfections.
