Default Installing a sunroof

Have anyone here ever installed a sunroof on there DX or HF? I want a sunroof on my DX but I'm not sure how to do it or where to get it done or the pricing. Can anyone give me some info and suggestions? Thanks

Get a JDM glassroof panel, there is a local importer in frisco selling everything you need to swap it (besides a welder) for $800. I almost bought one, but instead I got some turbo goodies.

thanks for the help but i don't think i have that much money to spend on a sunroof

cyber glass top looks so nice it gets me hard, but its way out of my price ranges.

A simple tilt sunroof is what i'm looking for, downest said swap a Si roof, but that means i gotta get it in frost white. Or else it needs to be painted

shanghaining;

Please trust me on this one (I've done a roof swap, removing the sunroof on my hatchback) and if you are conserned with the cost of repainting the roof after it's done, then this is out of your budget!

If you have an aftermarket sunroof installed, it will lower the value of your car.

I'm not trying to be a ****-head, just calling it as I see it.

Installing your sunroof, you need to remove the stops at the ends of the sliders. But are you asking how to replace an existing sunroof, or wanting to add a sunroof?

I bought a junked out rex with a roof that used to have a sunroof, the people before me cut it out and put in a sunroof from a whole different car.. Stupid kids, so now i am probably just gonna plexiglass and seal the where the whole is Lighter then metal and glass and yet if I do it right it will look pretty good

well, I had one installed on my saturn, it was a tinted glass power roof, that is about the same size as a CRX SI roof....it cost me right under $600 bucks, and they insured there work, guaranteed against leaks and what not (this was back in 2001) and it looked rahter nice. We traded that car in nov of 2004, and never had problems out of the roof(no leaks, no motor dieing, etc)....If you must install a sunroof, thats how I'd do it.
