Default NoVA peeps

Some of us got the email for Coleman's sale, I take it.

Now's our chance to ditch those HCJ death-traps.

If anyone wants to meet there and ride somewhere, I'd be open to it. RJ mentioned Monday as well - anyone game for any of that?

I wonder if people are sick of nondescript "NoVA xxxx" threads.

What brands do they carry?

Some other cheaper brands too. ICON, Scorpion EXO. But their Arai selection is pretty good.

As far as I heard it was 20-40% on Arai and 20% off on another brand of helmet I cant remember ATM. Was there anything else mentioned? I just got a call about this from a friend, hence my lack of knowledge

Also, how long did it say this would last?

i deleted the email too quickly, i also wanted to know.

i'm actually interested in buying a nice Arai helmet, but i was going to wait a little while before making the purchase. if it's 20-40% though...it's swaying my purchase time.

I was mouse farts away from getting an Arai Corsair ($582@ Coleman) the other day. Good thing I checked ebay on my phone and found them for $440!! I may get some boots though. As for a little group ride, I'd be down to ride around.

Yeah, plus, my friend said the 20% off you get for signing up for the newsletter or something like that stacks with their current sale. So, if I could do that (since I havnt signed up), Ill be going home with a nice shoei or arai helmet this weekend ;D.

IIRC, my friend said the sale was Thur,Fri,Sat, although Id have to check with him to make sure.

I doubt they'll let you combine the two.

From the email:

the price still isn't competative with online prices. and good vendors package that helmet like they did mine with some INTENSE packaging.

For what it's worth, you don't get a warranty that way.

Arai doesnt want vendors selling their helmets online. There's probably ways around it, but there's not many shops doing it.

You think you have a warranty with it.

NOTE: As neither Arai or the consumer can be assured that helmets sold by mail order, phone or internet are properly fitted and delivered as original, as new condition, Arai cannot and does not extend its warranty to helmets purchased through these channels.

You're going to have a hard time beating 20-40% off at coleman.

But if they didnt fit the helmet on your head in the store and you walk out with it, then you dont get the warranty. Buyer beware.

so every time i buy another helmet you're saying regardless if its the smae make model and size, its going to be different, slightly but not enough to change a whole size.

get off your high chairs and crawl your own way, i got my helmet for a 400 bucks brand new, i called the guy which a friend recommended and had bought from IN person, and told him what i wanted and he took care of it.
