When viewing a used car ad in Europe what does 110 kw (150 PS) mean??? Also what does 'schwarz' mean?

Here is a cut and paste of the ad:

Data:
second-hand vehicle, 88.000 km
110 kW (150 PS), petrol, Manual gearbox,
Initial registration date: 03/91,
schwarz, 2/3 Doors

Extras:
Central locking, Leather interior, Alloy rims, Sunroof, Electric windows

 

150hp. A kW is a forming of power, go to school to learn stuff.

German-English dictionary might know what a schwarz is.

 

Ok I figured out that 'schwarz' means black...

still need to know what the KW and PS mean.

kw = kilowatt - hp = 1.341022kw
ps = pferdestarke - hp = 0.98632ps

ps = metric hp - - - pferdestarke is german - translation is basically "horse strength"
