Where should I place my gauges?
I just can't deside on where to mount them!
I think I like having all 3 in front of the clock, but it could be a bit screaming...
It's for oiltemp, olipresure and watertemp.

and one in the a pillar
that is my favorite, but you're gauges looks like they are to big for that. what size er those? [
The dash is best for visibility IMO. May not "look" the cleanest but it's my preferred spot. I have 2 in the cluster but my 320mm wheel blocks them(grrrr). Kind of annoying. The pillar sucks because it impares vision while driving, again, IMO.
Basically wherever YOU can see them best without taking your eyes off the road

Mine>>>

The black one on the right is temporary until i get a gauge holder i like, the one i'm using at moment is hideous looking but its all i could find in my nearest auto parts place at the time

I used the clock plug for my power source, all the wires you need are there, 12v ignition, ground, 12v constant and illumintaion. I got thin spade connectors and hooked up all like wires together and crimped on the spades then simply plugged each spade into the clock plug...no need for cutting/splicing etc etc and if i ever wanted to remove them i can stick the clock back in again easily.

i like to keep mine in a cluster so they are all close but readable at a glance. i know this picture is a little close and blurry but it will give you an idea of what im talking about.
the 3 together in front of the clock would be the easiest to read on the fly i think. a pillar mounts drive me crazy, you can only read one at a time and i like to have lots of room to see ahead for sharper left turns.
I have my defi's mounted just like this:
but without being angled that much. I can't see my clock, but I use the clock area to place my highway toll tag (a lot of tolls in my country)
I advise getting some visors
for the gauges else it would have a lot of glare during the day. Also make sure not to clean the gauges with any rough rags etc as they scratch really easily!

Started to work on the mounting today. I desided to go for a different placing though... Watertemp on the left, and oiltemp and presure in the right.
I felt it was to mutch to have all in the midle... The one on the left is now a little more hidden.
I removed the clock and use the wires there to run the gauges. Thanks to whoever told me that trick
And I've ordred a block off plate to cover the empty hole with an Integra-logo on it! Cool!
