Default GSR transmission Question!

I have two gsr transmissions one has a shot third gear (needs new synchos) but the diff bearings, Input shaft bearing, countshaft bearing etc.. are all still in excellent condition.

My second gsr transmission has no problems with the synchos (its shifts great), but has a bad bearing somewhere (dont konw cause its still in car, but my guess from the winding sound is that its the ISB bearing).

My question is can i take the gear set from the tranny with good synchos but bad bearing and put it in the tranny with good bearing but bad synchos? I know the part are obivious interchangable as they are both gsr transmissions, but i would like some advice to whether this would be a good idea.

TIA

wouldn't be a bad idea, just make sure you have some prior experience working on transmissions before pressing it back together... otherwise you might be in for some headaches down the road

Yeah I won't have issues working on the tranny as i have a certified honda mechanic helping me with the transmissions. I was just looking for a cheap and convient solution to my problem. Thanks for the response!!! Any other opinions will be appreciated.
