Default Stewie8apie and Sohcd16y8's first photo session/with setup

Well this is the first time we have ever had a chance to take pictures of our cars/w the current setups. We are not great photographer's and dont have 761398476 invested in lenses like everyone else so I dont want to hear about the picture quality, its all we got.

Anyway the EK is mine (andy) and the DC is adam's (stewie8apie). I am a just about to graduate from high school but finished the ek about 8 months ago, just hadnt had time to take pictures. I will be attending Purdue University for ME next year for anyone who cares to know. THis car has been through a lot of different setups starting with the basic I/E setup then nitrous, now this current one. Everything was paid for by me from working at my job at cough* autozone cough* I was only able to make 3 official passes due to not having a helmet but it ran 3 13.4's at 110. With a lil practice I hope to go 12's. Since most people dont read this anyway, hear is the setup.

Adam's car has just been finished a few weeks ago and he will be a soph at Purdue next year also in ME. The exterior is still a work in progess and he has some SE rims with falkens waitng to go on soon. It will also be repainted in the future. Here is his setup.

You want comments?

Alright..

Both cars have nice turbo set ups but the exteriors look like ****.

There - I said it. You wanted comments. Props on turbo'ing your cars.. Now take the lip off, paint the interior black again and buy suspension for both of them.

They both have a good start

thx, the lip will stay on due to the fact that is protecting the bottom of my intercooler a bit. I will probably replace it with something nicer in the future. adam is repainting the interior as we speak and I plan on getting rid of the diamond plate soon. It looked a lot better with the racing seats I used to have. The teg already has tokico struts with hand r springs i believe (adam correct me if im wrong) but the civic is stock and will remain that way most likely. The exterior will be getting some love on the EK soon. I started the process of fixing dings a few years back but being that it is daily driving to a High school parking lot it was always getting messed up.

yea i would say just take the red out of the integra interior and lower the civic. good start and the civic sounds like its pretty quick.

I used to think that but slowly changed my mind. I think it adds a something more unique to the car. That and my EX badge was falling apart

Yeah that is a really bad angle, it makes everything seem so cluttered in the backround. When you view it from above it is A LOT more organized.

Avoid running your boost-reference line for the boost controller/wastegate over the exhaust manifold. The fuel line is pretty good stuff and it might be temporarily ok, but you're just asking for problems down the road.

like I said earlier, the picture is misleading. There is a good 3.5 inches between the main and line at the closest point. That angle makes everything seem closer.

notice the pic of me flicking it off...<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by StolenTeg &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I think it rice when you turbo your car then run out and find the turbo sign </TD></TR></TABLE>

its not like he ran out the day the car was turbo'd and bought that...it just went on and the setup has been done for quite a while. also, i think its kinda hard to be original these days and not to many people do the 1.8t badge.

yeah, like SOCHD16y8 said, i have tokico shocks and springs.

also, i'd just like to point out that i am a broke college student and andy is just graduating high school. i would rather be fast and have a decent looking car then have a good looking exterior that i spent a lot of money on, and still be slow.
