What is it about the test pipe that isn't fitting? Is it 2.5" diameter?

it's not fitting snug on the donut gasket.... i'll try to host pics up so you can see. give me a minute or two.... the inner diameter is not quite 2.5 but almost.

the jdm test pipe has a HUGE collecor, the usdm has a normal collector.

compare your test pipe with your cat, if it looks the same on the header end, then you got a usdm one

i don't have a usdm cat on hand at the moment to measure it. but i'll have the pix of the header collector up and the test pipe to show the difference.... maybe i got the wrong donut gasket on, it came with the used header that i bought off an
h-t member.... i mean it barely fits over the donut gasket on the header.

That's about right. The flanges shouldn't touch, it's a ball and socket joint for flex. You need to use the stock springs with that joint.

It will snug up a bit more once you get the stuff tightened up.
