i was searching for any Toda A charts but cuoldn't find any since the search is fugged up. if anyone can post up a chart of a stock ITR vs. Toda A or give me any comments on their set up. it would be appreciated, thanks.

Green is Spec B and

I rembember this...i though the red were the As. It was a big deal that he hit 200 with As and stock injectors.....I'm not sure though

 

All Spec A's I believe it was just different runs after tuning.

I've seen people who can't make 207whp with spec c's and tuning

 

14 is the last tuning run.
The difference between 14 and 16 is heat soak.
15 i let the car cool down TOO much.

In A LOT of cases I have seen SpecA cams make better power than the SpecB cams. I have made 196 Hp and 130 lbs-ft with my SpecA cams. They really are a GREAT street cam. Even more so than a CTR/ITR.

Don't get me wrong SpecB and SpecC cams are great too. You just have to have the right combo/compression. You can't just slap them in and expect 200 Hp easy. They like compression and lots of tuning.

I have posted several dyno charts of spec A's on my ITR. I made 178whp and 126 torque. This was with bolt ons and a VAFC. I ran out of fuel, but there was more power to be had.

The Spec A's made anywhere from 10-15+ torque over my stock cams from 5-7000rpm's and about 5 peak whp. They are a good mild cam.

 

I believe Sqt's setup was just CTR pistons, and I think JDM 4-1 header.

not sure what exhaust.
i will eventually upgrade to higher comp. pistons but not anytime soon

Big cams dont LIKE compression, they NEED compression, there is a difference.
High compression always helps but isnt quite as necessary with spec As as needed
with larger cams.
