I saw in another thread that someone posted a pic of a usdm hatch with the password jdm lip, looked nice but wanted to see more pics, anyone have anymore? I would like to do this but want to see how it hooks up.

from what I recall where the pic originated (the owner of that hatch posted a thread with that pic in it) he said that all he had to do to get it to fit was trim the middle section to fit inside the grill of the USDM bumper.. this was awhile ago though so I'm not 100% sure

 

you dont have to modify anything to make it fit. its a direct bolt on. i would post pics but i dont know how.

 

what year is your car as well? i think the guy who did it had a 90-91 front end. if you have a 88-89 front dunno how well that would work out. seems no one has tried yet

 

i have a 91 usdm front end. I tried searching for it but didnt come up with anything. I heard that you need to cut the inside part of your bumper to make it fit and on the sides of your bumper need to be fastened because the jdm bumpers have a small dip in the sides and the usdms dont really have that.

any pics would be great guys, im sure im not the only one interested.

well i went up to password today to pic up a lip for my usdm front bumper and that thing does not fit!!! I didnt cut it up and mess with it but from looking at it line up to the usdm bumper it is safe to say that the jdm lip doesnt fit my usdm bumper. Sucks so now i need a damn jdm bumper. Anyone gotone it has to be black and fit 90-91 hatch. Anyone know where to find one? thanks
