hi i have an 89 civic si and i was wondering about the password lip. now i know with minor cutting the crx version will fit the crx usdm front but only becuase of the little spaces where it looks like fogs should go. does anyone know if i would have to cut for the civic lip to fit a usdm civic front? and does anyone have any pics if this has been done? thanx in advance.

i have the JDM front lip on my civics USDM front bumper... fits awesome except you have to trim a little bit of material off of the center section on each side... i dont have any pics right now but ill see if i can get some... i cracked it yesterday pulling up too far into a parking spot

sucks but if you can please get me pics asap cuz this is the only thing holding me back from buying it. i have the money and all i just wanna know how it looks and exactly what to do to make it fit. thanx a bunch.
it will look just like it does on the jdm front bumper... the only difference is that the usdm front bumpers have a wider "mouth" so you have to trim about 1/4" off of both sides of that section... other than that its as if it was meant to be

i have an 89 with the slightly different front. is the mouth any different in size? if not you just sold a password lip. thanx man. nice hatch by the way.
im not sure... ive only owned two EF's and theyve both been '91 hatches... all i can say is that they are really high quality... if you get the c/f i believe that you will still be able to trim it but itll just be harder since you have the resin in the c/f that makes it so hard... thanks for the comment

why not just get the chargespeed lip made for the jdm si bumper? which is the same as the 88-89 bumpers.

Did you try to trim the inside parts of the lip where it connects to the mouth? I'm sorry for bringing back an old thread but my HD lip peeled off and I'm looking for lips now.. even went to a junkyard and couldn't find one damn lip.

Looks to me the owner of the 90-91 Hatch posted above had to trim off everything from the fog/fake brake air duct area of the CRX lip and some from the air dam.
If anyone is willing to sell me their password CRX SiR lip in fiberglass or whatnot, I'd be willing to modify it to fit on my 88-89 CDM/USDM hatch cause' I'm in the market for a new front lip
. Of course a writeup + many pictures would ensue

I have a brand new CF password front lip for the hatchback. I thought it would fit on my USDM front end with some cutting, but never got around to it. I got rid of the hatch :/
Trying to sell it 200$ shipped obo. I got pics.
