Default h22 problem- limp mode

ok i just got done swaping a h22a in a 97 civic it runs drives fine but it wont go pass 6500 rpm- its going to limp mode right? what would cause that? we used a obd2 to ob1 harness could that be a problem? any info would help thanks

i will check again if it has a CEL code? if its not throwin a code, what are somethings that would not make it go pass 6500k rpm?

its going to throw a code if the CEL is on... figure out what the code is first

it was throwing 4 codes, we got to narrow it down to 1 -code 41 i think it the o2 we will replace tomorrow and see what happens
