Default camshaft seals h22a

has anyone ever had an issue with camshaft seals on a h22a turning inside the housing they sit in? i just had a set of seals fromt the dealer and they was loose inside. so then i went to orielly's to get some more since the dealer was closed and they did the same thing.

they was bone dry. the seals that came out fit perfect.the ones going in slide in with ease so i pulled them back out and slide the others back in and had to actually push them in with a lil force. the old ones had #'s on them

old #'s on seal was 29 43
new #'s on new seal was 28 42

it should be more than a little force man, something is wrong, are you sure the cam caps are tight???

you should have to use a driver or a big socket or something to hit them in....

well both numbers are smaller so that suggests something to me.....i would take the old ones to the dealer and get them to match them.....when im getting parts for my jdm h22 i always ask for 1994 prelude vtec parts, it has always worked, and i replaced everything on that motor before it went in....
