5g seats into 4g or Vice versa

which set of seats fit into what vehicle? the 97-01 lude to 92-96 or the 92-96 to 97-01? trying to figure out the question. just curious.

I can check this weekend....I have some 4g seats in my hatch, and I will be swapping them into my 5th gen since I will be driving to Phoenix soon & the 4g's are more supportive and hurt my back less on longer trips.....

The seats fit in each car.

The 4th Gen has better seats. I know the 4th Gens are made by Recaro. Not sure about the 5th gens.

I was pretty sure that the seats arnt interchangeable without modifiying the brackets.

anyone have a definitive answer on this? i know 5G to 4G is possible, what about the process of the 4Gs to 5G, i'm seriously thinking of doing this after hearing about the 5th gens uncomfy seats

I can't say for the opposite. It would be more dificult though I think. The rails on the 4th gen don't swap with the 5th gen, and the 4th gens are shorter so you would have to fab up the rear mounts.
