Default Hifonics XX-Colossus II amp

anyone know anything about the Hifonics XX-Colossus II

im thinking about buying this amp to power a pair of subs in my suv

will this amp work with 2 jl audio 12w7s?

can i wire the w7s to 2 ohms?

If you wire both of them to 2ohms each you might run into a problem if the amp is noy 1 ohm stable. I would wire them to 2ohms in series. That way theres no amp clipping and the impedences are matched up. Find out at what ohms that amp is capable of and go from there. But it should be more than enough cause one of my buddies is running 8-10" subs with one of those amps.

600 watts x 2 chan. @ 4 Ohms
1100 watts x 2 chan. @ 2 Ohms
1600 watts x 2 chan. @ 1 Ohm
2000 watts x 1 chan. @ 4 Ohms
3200 watts x 1 chan. @ 2 Ohms

go ported its the best way, also have you looked into soundstream they seem to have some nice amps.
