rsx noise when turning stearing wheel
I've noticed mine doing that too. I have a completly (mechanically) stock '06, and it makes that sound on the outside wheel during quick sharp turns. It sounds like the tire is rubbing something plastic in the wheel well. The car only has a little over 1000 mi, the power steering fluid is at the recomended level, and the wheels/tires are stock. It made the noise the first time when it only had about 60 mi on it.
I'll check the wheel well this wekend when I have some time.

i picked up my car from the dealer today and it was fixed they said its a common problem the 05-06 type s's have
and honda in japan is aware of the problem out here and they are trying to come up with a solution for it
in a sense its like a recall it has something to do with the struts...
but they just said they could lub mine for now untill honda/acura gives them a cure but the noise went away...but i think it might come back..

What year is your car, the problem was different for the 05 and different again for the 06.

What did they do to your car?
The popping noise should always happen (unless they've fixed it) when you're parked and just turn the steering wheel. It should also happen at very low speeds as in when you're parallel parking.

its not actually the struts. it the top part of the strut which turns w/the wheels. honda really scrimped on this. there is no bearing, just an aluminum hat rubbing on the top part of the shock housing- el cheapo!
Im getting the same damn noise.. i just recently put in ASPEC'S and did the whole overhaul with new top mounts, bearings.
It's driving me up the wall... the thing is, it's ONLY coming from my passenger side.
I would get someone to turn the wheel left to right so you can listen. but .......I think it's coming from the rack, if you put your hand on the outer tie rod, you can feel the vibes.
Def something to do with the rack..
