Default Smog with 02 TYPE S Moded

I am planning to buy a type S from a fellow on clubrsx and wondering if smog will be an issue for me.. here is a little info on the car>

Its an 02 type S with these mods: AEM CAI, Type-R Flash, Type-R Cams, JR Race Header, Fujitsubo Power Getter Exhaust. He has all the stock parts for the car..but my greatest concern is, will the TYPE-R flash be a problem with the smog or will I need a stock ECU?

u should worry more about the JRRH cuz they will check to see if you're running a cat! everything should be fine even with the type r cams

does the state you're in use the sniffer?? if no, then as long as you do not have a ecl then you'll be fine.... I stay in GA and this state does not use the sniffer for 96 and up cars.... I passed with no cats using what people call the "getto sim".... this only works if one the state you are in does not use the sniffer and if you have no ecl. only then you can pass with flying colors with no cat at all.....
