I bought a set of Integra Coupe leather seats for my 2000 hatch. I got everything to line up and fit (swapped frames for the upper back rests with Integra seats, etc).
I am now looking for options of what to do about the big *** 2" gap around the bottom rear seat cushion. There are a couple of options but it seems that most people recommend using the bottom cushion from a 4-door integra.

Can someone that has done or seen this please post a picture of 4-door integra rear seat in a 96-00 coupe or hatchback?

which gap are you referring to?

the one in between the seat cushion and the back cushion?



or the gap between the seat cushion and the side panel?

 

I have gaps both on the sides and between the top and bottom pieces of the backseat. On top of that my car is white, so you can definitely see the gaps very clearly and it's super ugly.

The reason for this post is to see if someone actually got the 4-door seat to fit properly. Everyone says that it takes care of the gaps because it's cushier and wider, but no one can confirm that the metal pegs on the bottom of the 4-door cushion will line up to the civic frame without a problem.

I found someone selling the rear seat out of a 4-door for a decent price, but he's not local and I would have to buy and keep even if it doesn't fit.

Help please!!

 

ic well i can't confirm that the 4dr cusion will fit with the metal pegs, but if you decide to keep the coupe cushion there are a few tricks that can be done to help hide/fill the gaps

 

i think the four door ones fit fine in there. I heard. Integra seats in a civic are stupid IMO. The gaps make it look fugly.

 

Yeah I've seen the threads on the subject and the pictures, but I am really into getting small details like this right and wanted to get it to look as clean as possible. So, someone has to know - I found someone that did it in his coupe, but the dude won't respond to PM's so I am hoping there are others.

That's why I am trying to get the 4-door seat in there and make sure it fits right to get rid of the gaps.
