ok to put stock 02 sensor about 2 feet from turbo?

ok to put stock 02 sensor about 2 feet from turbo?
is it alright to weld an 02 bung for my factory oxygen sensor about 2 feet down from the turbo? i have my wideband one about a foot down and know that is fine but how about factory 02 sensors? will it damage it?
