Thats your clearcoat fading. All you have to do is to re-clear it. If you do it yourself you'll get **** load of dust in the clear and then you would have to buff it out. I dont recommend to do it yourself. Unless you have a paint boot, or a closed, large space, washed, and plastic film closed.
Its not a desease and it wont spread. Sun is your worst enemy at this point.

Wetsand and clear. Thats your best choice.
By tha way are you Russian?

Thats the only way. Your paint is not ruined, its just the clear coat. The $350 eslitame was probably painting, which I mean by Paint/Clear. Go and ask same place for clear only.
I'm Russian too, from Siberia, lived in US for 10 years. I'm surprised to find another Russian on this site. Name is Alan Kuzmik

clear coat already cost you like 100 bucks, why not to have the shop do it since they only charge u 350. ( tell em to paint the whole car not just the roof)

Dude, paint the whole car??? I hope you dont suggest that to everyone. I bet you, you would never do that!!! So dont tell someone to do something if you wouldnt do it.

Meguirs sells a wax for use with orbital buffers or high speed buffers that will remove that and is clear coat safe. I used it on my GF car before we sold it. The roof was half white from oxidation. I used the wax to remove it and then finished it off with the normal waxing procedures and it looked great.

I would try that first. All it does, is putting moisture back into the clear. It'll dissapear for a while, but when wax is washed off. Tatta!!! Its back again. If you look closely into the picture, you can see where top coat of clear is gone. The only way to fix the problem is to re-clear. (the same thing with foggy headlights). A question to SpeedFreak77 when you buffed your car before you sold it, did you noticed any paint of your buffing pad?
I did that with my Mazda Mx-6 that i had 5 years ago and my buffing pad was the same color as my car, because there wasnt any clear left.

Looks like a common problem ( I had a Nissan with that ), clear coat peeling ( like sunburned skin ). It won't stop doing it unless you sand it completely off. A wet sand and re-clear coat will last a while, but not forever. completely sanding it off will cost a bundle. I would sand and re-clear-coat ( you have to be careful not to sand through the paint ). It could last 5 years or more, if your lucky. Good luck.

Yeah, be very careful if you're going to try and high-speed buff that out. Too much pressure and kiss your clearcoat goodbye.

I don't know man, it's been 6 years. I don't think there will be any warranty on the paint.
