so im ordering my swap, im swaping a DOHC ZC into my 89 hb standard. i dont even know what kind of exhaust to look at/get, what kinda header, figure ill just get an AEM intake or something. anyones help/input/what they have or seen would be great. thanks all.

magnaflow muffler gets my vote
no need to shell out crazy cash for a good exhaust...
I had a muffler shop custom bend me some 2.25 aluminized, along with a test pipe & glass pack mated to a magnaflow. all together I paid less than 200.00 not including the obx 4-2-1. sounds quiet and i get better low end on my b16 than my old fart can set up

 

I say get any cheap intake and put a good filter on it rather than shelling out a lot for AEM...exhaust i replied in the ssame thread as red_ef i have a thermal R&D CL exhaust and its well worth the money but thats personal preference, maybe grab a MSD cap and ext coil...header I've heard the cheap ones can acctually make you loose power because of poor design so might be worth the extra to get a megan racing or real DC

ebay intake w/ k&n filter, custom exhaust(or RSR ), dc 4-2-1 header, some good tires, and save up for suspension
