Been wanting a new bike for awhile, and i found one! It's a 05 CBR600RR has 12,000 miles, full exhaust, power commander, and the guy is asking $6000. Is this a good deal? I know it's a lot of miles for a year old bike but they are mostly highyway miles and the bike has never been down. What do you guys think?

yeah they guy has taken real good care of it, he's a middle aged man so he hasn't been to hard on it. Friend at work knows him and says he doesn't ride hard and he's kept up on maintenance.

 

thats a lot to ask for that amount of miles. then again we're on differnt coasts.

Being only a year old and having a PC and full exhaust I don't think so

Also, KBB says average milage for that year bike is 7,400, so thats not too much over- their suggested retail is also $6,800 STOCK, yeah that's high but not by a lot if it's clean with those mods.

 

pretty good deal i think. offer 5500 cash and get it for 5800

I have never seen a last-year bike go for less than $6800. And that was a non-Raven R6, which was the cheapest 600SS sold last year.

$6K is a good deal. People are still asking more than that for bikes from 2003 and 2004. 12K miles may seem like a lot...but it's a Honda.

seems as though we have different avenues when it comes to looking for bikes

that's what i was hoping, just didn't want to low ball him!

and **** if anyone can find a 05 RR for under 6000 let me know i've been looking!

OK, show me an 05 600RR for less than $6K without noticeable damage or something wrong w/the title.

 

$6500 for an 05 with only 3,400 miles with very tasteful mods and extended warranty

I know some werent an 05 .. and some were higher, but $900 is definitely worth it ffor 11,000 or so less miles.

I could post up a ton of 03 and 04's that are 5ish ... but i'm too lazy. Also if anyone is looking for a track RR, there are quite a few on there for $4000ish

 

EDIT: Found out it's a 04 w/11,xxx miles
has an Arata full titanium exhaust, PC, K&N air filter, reusable oil filter, new tires, few other things i can't remember.
