Default Burning oil problem..need HELP

i got a 96 DX Coupe. I got it last friday and i changed the oil and also bought a new oil filter for it.
i drove it around after the change to make sure its runnning good and things, but it burns oil now. not a lot but a good amount..

i really dont know enough about cars to say its that or whatever, so any help would be nice??

Are you sure it's burning oil and it's not leaking? Have you tried the "cardboard test"?? (Putting piece of cardboard under car to check for leaks)

yeah because that blue/ white smoke is coming out of the exhaust...so it couldn't be leaking oil.

They don't just suddenly start burning oil after an oil change. Even if you used the crappiest wrong oil, it would take some time for damage to occur.
